Our carbon footprint begins in New York City. Outsourced fabrics and materials are imported to our studio from around the globe. All our materials are piece-dyed locally. Fabrics and laces are hand-cut. Garments are assembled and sewn in our New York-based atelier. The finished product is shipped directly from our location to customers via USPS, UPS, and FedEx services. We also provide hand-delivery via courier service with the New York City area.
We employ local sewing experts and also provide training for bra and underwear manufacturing to those candidates qualified to be part of our team. We do not export cutting, sewing, or any part of our garment production, including packing services.
Imported laces are hand-loomed in knitting plants from Calais, France, Italy, and the USA. Our laces consist of nylon, elastane, polyamide, cotton, and rayon. Fabrics, elastics, hardware, labels, and trims are manufactured in the USA, France, Italy, and Germany. We use 100% organic cotton insets in all of our underwear. We use organic materials, such as silk, wool, and cotton whenever possible.
Fabrics, laces, and trims are purchased new and cut scraps, paper scraps, and plastics that have been used in the production process are recycled through NYC recycling services.
Bulk fabrics, laces, elastics, and threads no longer in use are donated to the fashion design students of the Fashion Institute of Technology. Inventory and finished goods are donated to those in need, Goodwill, and The Salvation Army.
