African prints are emblematic and powerful. There is a deep and ancient history behind the multitude of fabrics made in Africa, some of which are said to be the first fabrics ever made by humans.

Kente fabric's origins come from Ghana, West Africa, and is a woven cloth that was allowed to be worn only by select royalty within the Asante Kingdom.

Now, this fabric is widely used and produced in many printed cotton versions,  embraced by the African-American community and international fashion culture across the globe.

African wax print fabrics are associated with tribal patterns and motifs. Each design and color reflects traditions and symbols such as the tribe, marriage, and social status of the wearer. Some African women use specific colors and prints as a non-verbal way of communication.

The Africa Print Brief is made of 100% cotton and can be worn as innerwear or outerwear. This cut fits smoothly on the hips and finishes with full back coverage.

Wear the Africa Print Brief beneath your favorite jeans or under a transparent dress.

Pair it with matching Africa Print Bra to complete the set. Choose from six different African Prints.
